Celebrities’ Favorite Sweets

Sugar Factory has been in business since 2009. Founded by Charissa Davidovici in Las Vegas with her family’s help, it started as a small candy shop. Before building her candy empire, Davidovici worked as an elementary school teacher, inspired by her two daughters. The original concept of Sugar Factory was born over a family dinner discussion about candy.

Charissa Davidovici

Over the years, Davidovici opened Sugar Factory locations in some of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities, including New York, Chicago, Miami, Dubai, and Manila. The restaurant’s success was propelled by inviting celebrities to observe the confectionery-making process. Signature Couture Pops lollipops became a designer accessory among stars, with fans like Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Drake, Nicole Scherzinger, Eva Longoria, and Rupert Grint. The restaurant’s colorful, photogenic ambiance has earned it the title of “the most Instagrammable” in the USA, according to Food & Wine Magazine.

In 2018, Davidovici and TCL Chinese Theatre opened Theater Box in San Diego, a complex featuring a full-service restaurant, a large candy store, a chocolate lounge, a luxury VIP cinema, a sports bar, and a rooftop bar.
